Ingredients :
- 1 turkey leg of about 700g
- 4 tablespoons of sweet mustard
- herbs of Provence or Italian
- 2 garlic cloves cut in length 4 or 6 times (remove the germ)
- salt
For the marinade:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Pepper
The evening before, put the thigh in your rectangular or oval dish and incise the thigh several times by introducing a piece of garlic (help you with the knife by spreading the slit and pushing with your fingers).
Coat with sweet mustard everywhere, sprinkle with herbs, cover with a sheet of aluminum and put in the fridge overnight.
The next day, leave the fridge at least one hour before cooking.
Preheat your oven to 180 ° C (forced air heat, 200 ° C conventional oven I think)
Coat the marinade everywhere (preferably with a cooking brush, it's easier), salt to taste and pour 10 cl of water all round. Put in the middle of the oven for 1 hour by watering with the juice very regularly (add water around when necessary).
Turn off the oven, take out the dish and cover with the alu already used for 15 min.
Cut the thigh into slices, put them in the dish and turn them to soak the juice. Cover again with the aluminum and return to the oven for a few minutes.
Accompany with vegetables, rice, mashed potatoes, hash browns or tagliatelle (salad) according to your choice.
